I really liked this LIT clinic section, especially learning more about Doc Grosser and the transhumanism stuff.

It was really cool to see the Q&A. Nice to be able to get in the heads of you guys and see behind the curtain. Congrats to Camel for winning the rulebook. One thing I do hate about this Q&A is I feel like there’s so many more questions I just thought to ask, but now it might take awhile to get them answered. That and I really want to see if you have plans for any of my NPC names. I know since my questions were answered at the beginning, I do want to sort of give my thoughts on it. I love Lancer’s world, but often in my own Lancer worldbuilding I find that I often find some reason for the little micro-setting to not be in touch within the larger galaxy, so I can have the exact sort of control over the setting that the Bob mentioned. I don’t feel I’d ever want to make the jump to a full-on homebrew, though, as I find a lot of the wider factions to be some of the best parts of Lancer’s lore. That and I do like my NHP-Bullshit-Space-Magic.

Question for the Players: what are some fun facts/little quirks about the crew members of the DBC? Favorite foods/hobbies, little backstory tidbits… For Bob: What’s been your favorite part of running this campaign? Are there any other game systems you’d want to try?

I’ve got three more questions and three more names to throw onto the pile right at the end here. For my first question, this admittedly might not be a question you can answer, but what would the party have found if they didn’t have to leave the pirate mining planet? For my second question, this isn’t Lancer related at all, but it is for the whole table. All this talk of megacorp dystopias is reminding me of Shadowrun, and I was curious if you had any experience with either the system or lore? And lastly, I have a question for the players. If you had the chance to build a completely new Mech with completely different licenses, what licenses would you use? Lastly for NPC names, I have the Locke brothers, Robin and Finch, and Constantia Lusatia Soleil von Neuvelle. As a Lancer PC I want to play some day, I could tell you all about her character if you’re interested. With a name like hers, can you tell she’s a noblewoman?

Question for Bob: I love your NPC names--stuff like Michael Citylimits or Ruination Conditioning. How do you come up with them? Another worldbuilding question for Bob: There's a crazy number of factions in your setting. Do you have a big spreadsheet of them somewhere? What are some interesting groups we haven't seen much or any of yet? Question for anyone/everyone: What are your favorite and least favorite mechanics in Lancer?

I just remember when Orion shot a bomb, and it blew up. What would've happened if that ended in a whole party kill? And what would happen if everyone does end up getting wipe?

And the plot thickens! I’m loving the more in depth looks at the PC’s backstories, and how the dominos are starting to fall into place… I wonder if the Mandate has a branch on Riolyte…. I had a few questions for you guys, as well as a few names; If you had to choose actors to play characters in an upcoming Lancer Gig/Ruse movie or Tv show, who would you guys pick? Which fight has been your guys’ favorite? Favorite Arc? Favorite NPCs? In the manticore arc, the forces listed included something called Armor. If the players ended up needing to fight it, what exactly was it? Will we see it again? Question for Jay; what was the process for creating Steve like? The series had a ton of fun moments! Astro charming a door open. Evelene figuring out what Burn does, for the first time. Walking into a bar fight and just pulling up a seat and watch. Astro rolling a success to a Heroice roll, without hearing what it means. Evelene, for the first time in a fight. Not receiving burn! On a frozen waste ball of a planet. Exoskeleton murder suit in zero G. What is everyone's favorite moment? Mine is every time Evelene is on fire with burn. It is a classic that should be merch!

Tfw when Orion, bless his bullet dance nuclear cavalier shenanigans, forgets the trucks have 1 HP and never uses the assault rifle on them XD

I'm curious what everyone's LL is and what mech license do you have? Some name's and ideas Call Sign: [Twin Fang] Name:(Rose & Tom) These twins share the same call sign, and some people believe they share the same mech. But actually they both have their own mech, but the two mechs are exactly alike. Also another character name: Joe, Bob & Timothy. If you need general store type stuff it is Joe. If you need some not so legal stuff, it is Bob. If you are part of the rebals or resistance, it is Timothy. He cloned himself a couple of times and is in different sectors and simply states "We are all just siblings"

For Bob: Is there a story behind how you came up with the name "Ruination Conditioning"? It feels so oddly specific. If you were a PC rather than the GM, what sort of build would you want to run?

I have a few questions, but I decided I’ll start off with perhaps my biggest three (since they’re all related). 1. Why did you chose to create your own homebrew lore for the setting rather than use Lancer’s preexisting lore? 2. What inspirations do you have for your custom setting? 3. How do you have your custom lore kept straight? Do you just use a mess of Google Docs (and I am want to do), or do you use a tool like WorldAnvil? 4. How long have you been working on this custom setting? 5. What’s your favorite part of the setting you’ve come up with so far? Man, that ended up being a few more questions than I though. Am I crazy to say Smiles is becoming my favorite NPC? And I can totally see one of my characters being on his team. Callsigh Zombie is a plot who clones himself over and over again so that he can self-destruction at any moment in his Manticore.

It looks like the pirate arc is finally ending. Personally, I think it went on for too long, but I definitely like how the final war played out from a mechanical standpoint Edit; just got to the twist ending myself, what the fuck I love this.

It's always nice to have a chill session. No bombs, shooting or fighting. But Astro had to be Big Bird! The leader is always the big guy
